What better holiday to make a custom tee than for Eat What You Want Day on May 11th. Why? Because you don’t want to get food all over any of your other shirts, of course! On Eat What You Want Day, you throw your diet out the window, and literally just eat what you want (within legal limits and health restrictions, of course). Your no-no list is gone, out the window. Your diet can wait until May 12, but for that day, be free.
Wear Purple for Peace Day.
Now, if you’re wondering what color your custom tees should be on May 16, the obvious answer is purple, since that’s Wear Purple for Peace Day. Although it’s logical to think that this holiday was founded by the United Nations or some other peace-keeping force, it actually has a weirder, more out-there origin. Believe it or not, Wear Purple for Peace Day was made to prevent aliens from attacking us. The founders thought that if aliens visited Earth, they might think humans were too hostile and would either never come back or else try to wipe us out. In order to prevent that, they decided to make May 16 the day for everyone to try to be more peaceful. Although their intention comes from a weird place, it’s hard to argue with the thought.
